If you just clicked a link on Caveat Emptor and arrived at this page instead of where you expected to end up, here’s why. Articles seem to go up on randomly, then get moved or taken down just as randomly. Any self-taught web developer could explain to you how idiotic it is to do this (at least without redirecting readers to something useful instead of a 404 page), but hey, you can’t tell the traditional media anything about the internet, or it gets all obstinate and does the opposite, just to make sure it can go on whining about how the internet is killing traditional media.

So we’re sorry about the broken link. Feel free to let the Star Tribune know how you feel about getting this dead end.
