Sam Glover
Editor in Chief

I started this blog in November 2005 as a way to translate legal issues for non-lawyers and reach out to potential clients. When I decided to focus on consumer rights in 2006, Caveat Emptor was born. Over 400 posts and many visitors later, we have built a database of useful information for consumers and a running commentary on consumer issues.
When I am not blogging, I am working hard as a consumer rights attorney or feeding my ADD by working on one of my other projects, including SoloSmallTech, a survival guide for solo and small law firms, Minnlawpedia, a user-generated repository of Minnesota law and legal procedure in its early stages of development, or a debt buyer lawsuit clinic for the Volunteer Lawyers Network
On the rare occasions when I am not lawyering or glued to my computer, I like to run off to the Minnesota wilderness with my two best friends: my wife and my dog, Josie.
