How to Get a Free Credit Report (That is Actually Free)

To get a free credit report, visit annualcreditreport.com. Stay away from the misleading “free”creditreport.com, which is not free, but somehow still doing business despite its incredibly misleading name.

If you are in Minnesota, contact The Glover Law Firm, LLC, for a free case evaluation. In any other state, you can find a consumer rights lawyer using the National Association of Consumer Advocates lawyer database.

What are the other legit resources if youve exhausted your freebies

At that point, you are better off just paying. At $3 per credit report, it is still pretty cheap, even if it is not free.

Where are you able to get credit reports other than online?

You can mail a request to each credit bureau separately. Or if you just want to know your score and get a general idea of what is on your reports, you can get a composite report from mortgage brokers, car dealers, etc.
