Monster Cable sues another little guy—but this one will not be pushed around
Monster Cable is—forgive me—a monstrous company. It preys on small companies and any company with the name “monster” in its title, regardless whether a consumer would be likely to confuse Monster Cable’s unnecessarily-expensive cables with, say, a show about cars or vintage clothing.
Monster Cable seems to have sued as many companies as it has distributors for its cables.
And now, they sued Blue Jeans Cable for having cables that look like Monster Cable cables. Right. What?
This time, the victim’s owner, Kurt Denke, is a lawyer, and apparently a very competent one. His response is an entertaining bit of lawyering and humor at the same time (as the best legal writing often is). You can read the whole letter from Denke to Monster Cable at Audioholics.
Blue Jeans Cable, you have earned my business.
